About Sean

His Commitment

Sean is a local artist belonging to a dance crew known as United 1ne. Sean was born and raised in Edmonton Alberta. He is a b-boy which is a rooted term for the original HipHop street-dance style known as breaking or breakdancing. Sean has performed across North America entertaining audiences across the board, and has done work in various communities across Canada working with indigenous and non-indigenous youth, and facilitating creativity/empowerment workshops in the many locations that he has traveled to.

Sean has instructed dance classes at the University of Alberta, and Community Recreation Centres in Edmonton. Sean's passion for dance has led him to share his knowledge, experience and stories in many different places: youth corrections, academic institutions, First-Nation Communities, Inuit Communities, major festivals across Canada, youth agencies, and major cities across Canada and The United States.
